The SP3232ECP-L is a RS232 transceiver in 16 pin DIP package. It has high efficiency charge pump power supply that requires only 0.1µF capacitors in 3.3V operation. This charge pump allows SP3232E to deliver true RS232 performance from single power supply. The SP3232E has two drivers and two receivers. The ESD tolerance of SP3232E device is over ±15KV for both human body model and IEC1000-4-2 air discharge test methods.

- Maximum data rate of 235Kbps
- Interoperable with RS232 down to 2.7V power source
- Power supply voltage range from 3V to 5.5V
