The ADUM7643 series 6-channel Digital Isolator based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. It offers space savings and a lower price than 2.5 or 5kV isolation solutions when only functional isolation is needed. This family, like many Analog Devices isolators, offers very low power consumption, using one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators, with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3 to 5.5V. Despite their low power consumption, it provides low pulse width distortion (< 6ns for C grade) and a channel-by-channel glitch filter to protect the device against extraneous noise disturbances. Four channel direction combinations are available with a maximum data rate of 1 or 25Mbps. It has a default output high logic state in the absence of input power.
